Is Palin Trump's Mystery Guest? What Is Known So Far

Hillary is 44  (outstanding site) covers the matter well including a link to here)

Goldman Sachs? #Hillary2016? @TedCruz? #MGSP??? – Today The World Ends If Sarah Palin Endorses @RealDonaldTrump!!!

I would of course caution that all this is speculation but there are some major commentators who have given a degree of credence to the concept-we shall see. In the meantime;

FreeRepublic has a feature up which links to a private jet that left Anchorage Alaska at 11;14 a.m. Alaska time and arrived in Des Moines today.

There is a lot of speculation on the site that Governor Palin might have been on board.
People with apparent airline/oil industry knowledge advise that this is an"oil service plane fuel stopping in Des Moines and then heading on to Tulsa".

That is perfectly logical but of course arrangements could have been made for a private passenger.
It was then pointed out that Donald Trump has a rally in Tulsa the next day and if Palin was dropped off in Des Moines she could ride with him in his jet to Tulsa and take the oil company flight back to Anchorage.

At Hannity-a comment-but factual??

The haters at Uproxx seem to make it a "story"
Donald Trump Is About To Team up......

Hot Air has a similar site up with comments, conjecture and alternative suggested guests (Falwell).

At the moment Cruz supporters are not happy, understandably, about this possible turn of events as is evinced in their comments and Tweets. On the other hand if Palin were to endorse Cruz they would see her in a different light (and trump supporters vice versa)

Timing of flight seems to fit, unless it is another sheer coincidence.
Iowa rally starts at 5:00pm CST. Perhaps allow 2 hrs for the rally, and some time to get to the airport.
Same jet that arrived from Anchorage earlier, then has flight plan that departs Ames, IA, at 8:30pm heading for Tulsa, OK.

Palin isn't draw she used to be but she would be a boost to Trump/provide antibodies against Cruz attacks. And she can still generate attn"
"LOL I love when they add those snide remarks. Maggie, still needs to get that NYT pay check"

Yes however AOG is a big business in the aerospace industry so it requires immediate responses for planes down
To @MJosephSheppard @allahpundit Sunset Aviation is not a private charter. It's a supplier for the aviation industry.It's a fuel stop on the way to Tulsa

"Apparently it is a Canadair Challenger Executive jet. So a prestige plane and a passenger carrier one assumes. So it could carry politicians or oil executives as Prodigy suggests, or anyone else! :"

Pretty much everybody I know now believes Trump's special guest in Iowa tomorrow is Sarah Palin. >

Tons of predictions Trump's special guest in Iowa = Palin. "Seems like a yawner. Something going right at Cruz'd be more fun," Iowa R emails

Speculation at Taegan Goddard's "Political Wire"
"If it isn't Palin, I'd suggest there are only two possibilities that would truly be big news:
- if it is someone from Iowa, Joni Ernst seems more likely to me than does Branstad.
- If it is someone from out of state, my guess would be it could be Mike Huckabee dropping out to endorse Trump (or Santorum,"
"A credible source in the WAState GOP told me this morning that the endorsement will not be from Palin, but from Terry Branstad or Mitt Romney, possibly both.

Some from the media have advised and subsequent speculation, of a major campaign announcement from Donald Trump next Tuesday in Iowa;

Could be that John Wayne's daughter is endorsing him, but she has already done so via Internet. Stumped.
Trump says he'll hold a "special announcement rally" on Tuesday, Jan.,19th atJohn Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset, Iowa.

"Thoughts on Trump's announcement on Tuesday
If she wants to endorse, pre Iowa is the time to do it. If you wait until after Iowa and trump wins without her, he wins big in New Hampshire and South Carolina and doesn't/won't need her.
If trump loses in Iowa someone else could get momentum and it may be too late for her to make a difference.
To have the most impact you do it while Iowa is still in play and up in the air. You also want to do it to leave enough time for it to resonate. If she endorses him a day or two ahead of time that's too close.
I long thought Thursday the 21 would be the perfect day, you get the whole weekend and the days leading up to the final debate to cement a lead and close it out. But the 19 is close enough.

We'll see what happens.
I like this idea. Sarah Palin does not play by rules in general. This kind of move would be like, what the heck? Why not! She is often early in endorsements compared to many others. (Ernst, Haley, Rubio and many others she put her marker down first or close to it)
